College Fairs
If you're interested in going to a college fair to get information about several different colleges at once visit the Go To College Fair website at the top for information about where and when college fairs will be. BUT WAIT, there's more! You will also be able to fill out an on-line registration form with all of the information that colleges will ask for when you go to a fair. After filling out the information you will be able to print or pull up (on your phone) a bar-code for colleges to scan. This basically means that you won't have to take time filling out information form after information form about yourself at every booth!

Senior Visit Days
Scheduling A Visit
It is important to visit any post-secondary learning institution that you are considering attending after high school graduation. You will gain more knowledge about the institution from a visit, rather than just looking on their website or listening to a representative talk. Different institutions have different processes to schedule visits. The easiest way to find out what you need to do is by going to the institution's website and searching "visit". Some places may want you to call, some places may have online visit registration, and some places may have preselected dates that you can register to attend.
As always, I am happy to help you find out what you need to do to schedule a visit.
Sedgwick High School's Senior Visit Process:
1. Select a date and register or schedule with the institution, you would like to visit.
2. Print the PDF file below (Senior Visit Permission Form PDF).
3. Provide the information requested on the printed form and obtain signatures from your teachers and parents.
4. Turn the 1st page into the high school office prior to the day you will be absent.
5. Take the second sheet with you to your visit to obtain the signature of your guide during your visit.
6. Return the completed second sheet to the high school office upon your return to school.

I recommend that students apply for as many scholarships as they qualify for. Keep in mind that you will have a better chance of obtaining local or school-specific scholarships than you will have to obtain a scholarship that is available to students nationwide. Someone has to win each scholarship though, so it is never a bad idea to apply for a reputable scholarship.
Local Scholarships
Sedgwick High School has several local scholarships available to seniors. The applications become available for students to complete around March each school year. Make sure you visit this page often during the second semester of your senior year, so you do not miss opportunities to apply for the following scholarships:
