Mrs. LeMonnier - K-6 Counselor
October is National Bullying Awareness month! I will be visiting classrooms and teaching students about not only what bullying is but also how they can respond if someone is treating them or a classmate unkindly. Classroom teachers will be teaching students during their social/emotional time about how they can resolve conflicts with their classmates in a positive way.
Another exciting week in the month of October is Red Ribbon Week! Due to the huge success of our coloring contest last year, students will be invited to participate in a coloring contest again this year in honor of Red Ribbon Week, October 28-November 1. Classroom lessons will help students understand healthy choices they can make for a positive future. Our dress up days for Red Ribbon Week will be posted in the school newsletter as the week gets closer. Have a wonderful month everyone!
