The Cardinal girls took 7th place as a team with 170 points at the State Meet. The girls were led by Senior Mallory Croxton who finished 26th.

I was very proud of the way the girls ran today, with 4 of the top five girls running personal best times.

In the 3A boys race, Garrison got out of the gate good, but was hampered by a sore knee and ended up finishing in 25th.

The state meet was a great end to a very memorable season. Both boys and girls teams are young and there is a lot of potential for great seasons from them next year.

The team would like to thank all the parents and fans that came to Lawrence to support them at State.

** Garrison Harris was the only boy who qualified to run at the state meet in Lawrence next week by finishing in the Top 10. The rest of the boys team ran really good, but this meet had some of the top runners in class 3A and it was a tough meet. The Sedgwick boys did place 7th out of 12 Teams which was an awesome accomplishment for this young team.

**Mallory Croxton led the girls team today with an amazing 3rd place finish. Mallory has been getting better with every meet and is peaking at the right time. The rest of the girls ran awesome today, doing exactly what they need to do to get to state. The girls are running really strong right now and we're looking for great things from them next week at state. In the girls Team standing, Douglas and Cimarron tied at 62 points with Douglas winning on the finish of the 6th runners, Sedgwick finished third with 74 points good enough to qualify for state.

We would like to thank the great support we had today from all the fans that came out to watch the boys and girls run.

I was very proud of all the kids today. Most of them set personal best today.

    GOOD LUCK AT STATE!!!!!
